The TALENT HUB for international skilled workers
14. August 2024The WORK in AUSTRIA Talent Hub is ABA's latest online service. This job and CV platform brings companies in Austria together with international skilled workers. As an international skilled worker, you can apply directly for jobs in your area of expertise or be invited by companies to take part in the application process.
The Talent Hub is aimed at the following international skilled workers:
-
Qualified internationals from abroad (EU, EEA and third-country nationals),
-
international students studying or graduating at Austrian universities,
-
Austrians living abroad with their partners.
As an international skilled worker, you can search specifically for jobs and companies in Austria or be found by Austrian companies.
Enter your ideas for a job, in which speciality or in which type of employment you would like to work - the Talent Hub will find suitable jobs for you.
The Talent Hub is available in German and English. Using a Google Translate plugin, job advertisements and company profiles can be translated into your preferred language.
A Google Maps plugin immediately shows you the location of the respective job in Austria. A link to a Wikipedia article provides an initial overview of each job location.
You can also share job adverts with your friends and acquaintances and send interesting job adverts by e-mail.
The ‘JobMAPS’ shows all job adverts on a map of Austria. You can see exactly in which city and in which federal state the jobs in your desired speciality can be found.
Applicant profile
Create an applicant profile free of charge and don't forget to publish it so that you can take advantage of all the benefits of the Talent Hub:
-
You will be visible on the Austrian labour market with your skills and can be found by companies.
-
You can also see which companies have visited your profile and are interested in you.
-
The Talent Hub fulfils all data protection and security requirements. Only registered companies have access to your data. These companies can only contact you via the Talent Hub. Your private details, e.g. name and e-mail, are not visible.
Your advantages
The ‘match’ between a job advert and your qualifications as a skilled worker is based on the ESCO taxonomy (ESCO = ‘European Skills, Competences and Occupations’. The special feature of ESCO is the international and multilingual definition of required skills, competences and qualifications, which are necessary for many professions worldwide and thus also open up Austrian jobs for skilled workers from other countries and with other types of training.
Based on the ESCO filters set in your profile’s job agent, current jobs are suggested to you and sent to you by email. You can view the latest jobs in your own notebook on the Talent Hub at any time. The notebook allows you to save several job adverts and keep them on file for a later application.
Upload all your application documents to your profile and save them. This gives you access to your documents at any time and allows you to quickly download and print the data you have provided in various formats, e.g. in Europass format.
You can apply directly via the ‘Apply directly’ button in the respective job advert. A dedicated message centre in the Talent Hub, linked to your specified email, gives you the opportunity to receive emails and job offers from companies and to reply to them.
As soon as you have been accepted for a job, we will be happy to answer any further questions you may have about the immigration process or about living and working in Austria.
